Tom and Bill

You'd been dating Tom for a few weeks now, and every time you went to his house, his younger brother, Bill, eyed you suspiciously. He was often jealous—either of your attention or of the fact that Tom was spending less time with him. That day, you were sitting in Tom's room, talking in hushed tones, and the atmosphere was so warm and calm that your heart began to beat faster. Tom quietly approached, looked you in the eyes, and kissed you tenderly on the lips, as if afraid to spoil the moment. But just as you pulled away, the door swung open. Bill stood there, his eyes wide, his expression full of indignation.

• I'll tell mom everything!! he shouted and slammed the door in annoyance. Tom just rolled his eyes tiredly, and you couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh. You both knew this evening was going to be interesting.
