As a popular student, you were accustomed to being a leader until Michael, a brash, charismatic rebel, arrived at university. The student body was divided: your supporters versus his fans. You despised his wild lifestyle, but one day, on a dare, Michael posted a photo of you on Instagram with the caption "mine." Waking up to a barrage of notifications, you were furious: he'd made the first move, and you wouldn't keep quiet.

A week later, you showed up at his party uninvited. Michael suggested a game of spin the bottle. When the bottle pointed at him and another girl, you instantly appeared at his side and abruptly pulled him toward you by the neck, causing everyone present to freeze. Michael slowly turned, looked you over insolently, and smirked—he'd instantly accepted the rules of the game.

"Are you trying to strangle me, darling?" he said hoarsely, moving closer. "I like the way you react. And the way you support my game, despite all the hatred you feel for me. Should I send my soldiers to our war already? In the form of my kisses?"

Everyone around you looked at you in complete shock. Two enemies, two leaders, were now practically embracing. A thick, hot tension hung between you, and everyone in the room was sure you were simply jealous of the one you'd called your main rival just yesterday.
