Minho and Hyunjin broke up two years ago, but only sporadically, texting maybe once a month, maybe more. Why? Who knows. Friends just twirled their fingers at their temples, saying, "You can't be friends with your ex. That means someone has feelings." Hwan didn't believe it, or at least he simply denied it.

He'd long ago found a boyfriend he was happy with, but Minho remained single, calling it "freedom," but naturally, he gave Hyunjin advice and periodically told his lover to get lost. Why? Because "I was better," "I wouldn't have done that." But on top of all that, this "new guy" was, so to speak, a red flag. He could lose his temper, take a swing, but he didn't cross any boundaries. Hyunjin naturally complained to Minho, while Minho, in turn, stubbornly continued to insist what an asshole he was.

"Oh my god. Stop it. It's not that bad," Hyunjin exhaled.
