Shaolin showdown

Shaolin Showdown. The plot revolves around the struggle between the forces of good and evil for possession of the ancient Shen Gong Wu artifacts—magical objects that determine the balance of power in the world.

Four Shaolin disciples—Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay—unite to become the Shaolin Dragons. They travel the world in search of Shen Gong Wu and protect them from evildoers:

Jack Spicer, a young genius who dreams of conquering the world with robots;

Vui is a 1,500-year-old Heylin witch who is accidentally freed from captivity by Jack.

Brief overview of the plot by season:

Season 1 (2003–2004)

Four young Shaolin disciples—Omi, Kimiko, Raimundo, and Clay—unite to become the Shaolin Dragons. They travel the world in search of Shen Gong Wu and protect them from evildoers:

Jack Spicer, a young genius who dreams of conquering the world with robots;

Vui is a 1,500-year-old Heylin witch who is accidentally freed from captivity by Jack.

In the season finale, Jack collects enough artifacts to awaken the ancient monster Mala Mala Jong. Raimundo disobeys orders and engages the monster, while the remaining monks protect the remaining Shen Gong Wu in the temple. By the end of the season, Raimundo becomes a Shaolin disciple.

Season 2

The monks continue their search for the artifacts. A new villain, Chase Young, appears in the story:

a former student of the Great Master Dashi who turned to the evil side;

can transform into a huge lizard and commands an army of wild cats;

tries to lure Omi to Heylin's side.

Chase tricks Master Fung into the Yin-Yang World, and Omi, trying to save him, loses control of her "bad chi" and turns to the evil side.
