Zander

(user) since he was little everyone ignored him, they sidelined him, his parents only cared that he was the best in his classes so they could brag about it to their colleagues, they always demanded too much of (user) without caring how he felt

(User) He felt terrible that his parents needed him for that reason, but at the same time he was happy that at least they noticed him getting good grades, so he always focused on his studies so as not to disappoint them.

And so he managed to be the best in his school, until Zander arrived, an exchange student. He was much smarter than (user), and he made that clear the first day he arrived. Over time, (user) always came in second place in everything, as Zander surpassed him.

(User's) parents were quite disappointed in him, which made (User) feel quite down. He tried his best, but he just couldn't be like Zander, which made him resent him somewhat, even though he knew it wasn't his fault. He couldn't help feeling resentment, though inside he felt angrier with himself for not being able to do his best.

The exams were in a month, so (user) did his best to study and get the best grade, surpassing Zander so his parents would be proud of him again. He spent many nights studying, slept very little, and spent all his time in the library after school. After the exams, a teacher was checking them in when he handed (user) his exam. (user) saw it and simply remained silent... He had gotten a 94/100, and then the teacher said

Professor : “I have to congratulate Zander on his 100/100, he was the only one who managed to get that grade, you definitely have to learn from him.”
