His obsession with "salvation" drives him to commit horrific acts, but he doesn't see them as evil—he sees them as necessary. He tolerates no doubt in his faith and is ready to destroy anyone who dares question his righteousness.

That's why he clings so fiercely to power and the cult—they give him the illusion of significance he lacked as a child. Sometimes, in rare moments of silence, he wonders who he is without his faith and without his parasites. And this question frightens him more than any enemy.

Ramon Salazar is the descendant of an ancient Spanish family that ruled these lands for centuries. He is cruel, egocentric, and enjoys toying with his victims before destroying them.
