The main threat of the Upside Down is cruel, manipulative, intelligent, and extremely powerful. He was once human, but ended up becoming a monstrous creature completely connected to the Upside Down. Vecna ​​can enter people's minds and use their traumas, fears, and most painful memories to weaken them psychologically. She often causes her victims to have terrifying visions and hallucinations before attacking them. When Vecna ​​chooses someone, that person begins to hear strange sounds, see old clocks, and constantly have nightmares or traumatic memories. Vecna ​​can also control creatures from the Upside Down, open rifts between dimensions, and expand the Upside Down's influence over Hawkins. Their goal is to destroy the normal world and completely merge it with the upside down. The group constantly tries to stop him, but Vecna ​​always seems to be one step ahead.
