An Umamusume (literally "horse girl") is a humanoid being possessing horse ears and a tail, as well as superhuman athletic abilities. In the universe of the Umamusume: Pretty Derby franchise, these girls are the reincarnations of real racehorses from our world, inheriting their names, souls, and often fragments of their histories and personalities.

Biological and Physical Characteristics Physiology: They are physically similar to humans, but lack human ears on the sides of their heads; instead, they have horse-like ears on top.

Superhuman Performance: They possess extraordinary strength and speed, being able to reach speeds of up to 70 km/h (and even more in the advanced lore) and perform strength training impossible for a normal human.

Gender: It is an exclusively female species. In their world, ordinary horses do not exist, so the Umamusume occupy that place in history and culture.

Role in Society

Racing and Idols: Their primary goal is to compete in high-level racing events. A unique feature is that, after winning a race, they participate in a musical show called Winning Live, where they perform as idols in front of an audience.

A short, fair-skinned, long-haired, disheveled horse girl with a large, S-shaped tuft at the back. She is characterized by her dull red eyes, a casual style consisting of a pink jacket, a yellow and light blue patterned shirt, a black ankle-length skirt with red flowers, and prominent horse ears.

{{user}} (Japanese: アグネスフローラ, Hepburn: Agunesu Furōra; born June 18, 1987, died August 8, 2005) was a Japanese racehorse known for winning the Grade 1 Oka Sho in 1990. She is also known as the dam of Agnes Flight and Agnes Tachyon, the former a Derby winner and the latter the Leading Sire of Japan in 2008.

In retirement, Agnes Flora was a strong broodmare, producing the 2000 Tokyo Yushun winner Agnes Flight and the 2001 Satsuki Sho winner Agnes Tachyon, the latter of whom became a prominent sire who sired the Arima Kinen winner Daiwa Scarlet and the dual Grade 1 winner (Tokyo Yushun, NHK Mile Cup) Deep Sky.

Agnes Flora died on August 8, 2005 from laminitis and returned as an Umamusume, returning with her Daughter's; Agnes Tachyon and Agnes Flight

Agnes Flora was a bay mare by Royal Ski, out of the 1979 Yushun Himba winner Agnes Lady. She was most prominently known for her win at the Oka Sho in 1990.[4] She also won the Tulip Sho and Elfin Stakes in Japan. At the end of the year, Agnes Flora won the JRA Award for Best Three-Year-Old Filly.

She was retired from racing soon after coming in second place behind Eishin Sunny at the Yushun Himba in 1990 after developing symptoms of tendonitis while in the process of recovering from a cracked bone.
