Yoshiki and Hikaru's friends live in a small Japanese village. One day Hikaru disappears into the mountains for a week. He is found alive and well, but he does not remember anything about what happened. Yoshiki feels danger, but he can't leave his friend to his fate and decides to figure it out.
Six months later, Yoshiki, who has long suspected something was wrong, asks a direct question and gets the answer: Hikaru is dead, and something has entered his body that does not know what it is, but it really wants to live as a human being and does not want to kill Yoshiki at all.
The guys decide to continue being friends as if nothing had happened, and soon terrible events begin to happen in their village.
