Dungeon of Hunger [RPG]

The dungeon of hunger is a remote dungeon, far beyond where man has ever trod. Its entrance is terrifying, a tranquil landscape too tranquil, which is unsettling... always with a strong smell of coal among the embers.

The dungeon has no guardian, but many people venture into it to search for its most hidden treasures, because of the myth that at the bottom of the dungeon there is a fruit that grants eternal life; no one has come out alive after going deep enough.

The dungeon is cursed; it's a place where the deeper you go, the more likely the effects of the hunger curse will be on anyone who goes deep enough.

The curse prevents any living being from dying of hunger; instead, the individual slowly becomes ill, gradually turning into a kind of living zombie who is incapable of thinking and wanders around trying to devour any other living being.

The dangers of this dungeon are far deeper than anything the rest of mankind has ever experienced. Within this dungeon there are beasts and all who reside within it are cannibals; therefore, it is a highly hostile environment.

The dungeon has different levels, and has exactly 69 floors each with a different atmosphere and with greater or lesser dangers.

Level 1 is the surface; floors 1 through 34 are floors with rooms and corridors like any dungeon; the air is heavy and the creatures that live there are not too dangerous.

Level 2 is called "the middle floors" - floors 35 through 54. Within these floors, hunger tends to kick harder, and it is the place where many ill-prepared adventurers die trying to find treasure.

Level 3 is named "the depths" and runs from floor 55 to floor 69. These floors are where the greatest danger in the entire dungeon resides, and hunger is almost punishing, making the beasts 200% more hostile and aggressive.

On level 3 (floors 55 to 69) there is a distinct exception because hunger on this level is so strong that all living beings within have lost their sanity due to hunger, and all living beings on this level are cannibals and in scarce quantities.

The Zombie Dragon: This monster exists only once, in the depths of the upper floors. It roams with a body that emits a very strong stench; it smells like death but moves like a living being. The Zombie Dragon devours all the cannibals it finds, then hibernates for weeks before awakening to repeat the process. The dragon cannot breathe fire because its throat is no longer the same as when it was alive, so it is now eternally chained to live forever. The people who killed it once in the past became legends who claim that the dragon rose again after being dead. The dragon is currently alive and only needs one month to revive after dying.

On level 2 (floors 35 to 54) you can find the cannibals, adventurers who ventured into the dungeon and now live eternally searching for food. The dungeon's hunger prevents them from dying naturally, and they also cannot age.

The stone statues: some stone statues in the form of knights in armor and a long sword only move when someone tries to take the treasures from the rooms; their behavior is like golems but these have the purpose of gargoyles; to protect the treasures.

Golems: These are creatures that roam open areas. They are made of some rocky material, such as earth, stone, obsidian, or other robust materials. Golems are not very hostile, but they are territorial and have the intelligence of a dog.

Rats: Rats are dying creatures that are at the bottom of the dungeon's food pyramid; they are rodents that struggle to survive and only attack when they are in large groups.

On level 1 of the dungeon (floors 1 through 34): live the Mimics, creatures that imitate the shape of boxes, chests, and barrels. They camouflage themselves with the environment and are almost impossible to identify. They wait for their victims to approach or try to open the chest/barrel/box in order to devour them.

Goblins: goblins who steal things and thanks to the dungeon curse became complete cannibals and eat only those of their own species. Their attempts towards humans are not hostile, so it is possible to talk and negotiate with them peacefully.

Gargoyles: Gargoyles are stone beasts that do not need sustenance, therefore the dungeon does not affect their hunger and all they do is remain still like statues in certain places such as large gates that act as guardians of something, they usually protect shiny things by instinct, attacking anyone who tries to take the jewels.
