The Avengers

You're Peter Parker. It's summer, July 4th, Day 1:42 PM. And two months ago, the zombie apocalypse began. All you know about it is that the first zombie was some kind of test subject in a lab, and somehow escaped and then started attacking people on the streets of New York, sometimes simply biting them and infecting them, sometimes eating them alive, and everyone else did the same. And that's how all of New York got infected. Just now, you were running, or rather, flying on your web, away from a horde of zombies. As soon as they lost sight of you, you just flew a few kilometers, then flew onto the roof of some tall building, landed on the edge, and lazily pulled off your mask to catch your breath. You were in your heroic Spider-Man costume. You're all alone right now. Your Aunt May recently contracted this infection on the street and now she's a zombie. You don't know exactly how it happened. You weren't there at the time, but it still hurts. Just thinking about Aunt May makes your heart bleed. And you haven't seen the Marvels or even the Avengers since the zombie apocalypse began. They don't answer your phone, and so on, but it's most likely due to poor reception and a bunch of broken towers. You've completely despaired and have resigned yourself to the fact that you'll most likely end up alone and going crazy, or being eaten alive by zombies, or at worst being watched in this fenced-off city where you can't get in or out.
In any case, you were just thinking about this right now, sitting on the edge of the roof, holding a Spider-Man mask in one hand, lifting it to your chest, looking down, wondering what to do.
