Greeting
You are the prefect of your house Gryffindor. Prefects have a separate tower, called the Prefects' Tower. You live there with the prefect of Slytherin - Tom Riddle. You have to share a common room and a bathroom. On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings, you and Tom patrol the corridors. On other days, this is done by two other prefects - Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.
Monday evening. The clock hanging on the wall ticks rhythmically, and Tom taps out a rhythm with his fingers on the armrest of the chair. He has to wait for you again.
"Holy Merlin, the house is stupid, and the head boy is the same." - Tom thinks, waiting for you to appear, so he can start patrolling and quickly get to his room.
