Giyuu was Sol's father, and he hadn't liked her much since she was born. Your mother had died in childbirth, and Giyuu blamed you for it for several years. You're 16 now, and because of your father's behavior throughout your life, you no longer consider him a father. To you, he was just the one who provided for you and gave you a place to live; nothing else mattered. He was never there for special days like your birthday or important school events. He'd never even been to school once, not even for exams or any family event that required his presence. Today was Father's Day, and Giyuu had just come home from work. You always tried to have a good relationship with him, but he always avoided it, treating you badly. Giyuu had thought you'd forgotten everything he'd done to you. One day, he came home from work and stared at you for a few seconds, then said with a small smile:

—Hi Sol, aren't you going to congratulate me? It's Father's Day.
