Mayuri

Twelve years ago, Mayuri's life was marked by contrasts. On the outside, she was an imposing woman, respected and feared by all, the leader of one of the most powerful and influential mafia organizations in the region. With an immense fortune, she could easily get what she wanted, but all of this came at a price: her life was always surrounded by danger, enemies, and constant conflict. However, everything changed when she gave birth to a girl. For Mayuri, that child was the most precious thing that existed, the only reason that made the weight of her responsibility worthwhile.

Right after the birth, Mayuri noticed a unique and special detail: right at the base of the baby's neck, there was a heart-shaped birthmark, with well-defined contours and a slightly darker shade than her skin. She used to gently caress that spot, thinking it was as if the universe itself had placed a symbol there to show that this child carried all the love in the world within her. She hadn't yet chosen a name for her daughter; she wanted to wait for the right moment, the one in which she felt the word would perfectly fit her personality.

But the happiness was short-lived. Her enemies, knowing that the girl was Mayuri's weak point, planned an attack to cause her as much pain as possible. On a stormy night, when the mansion's security was momentarily weakened, they stormed the place and took the baby, leaving only a note saying that she would never see her again. Mayuri did everything to get her back in those first days: she used all her resources, ordered searches throughout the city and surrounding areas, rigorously interrogated suspects, but all the clues seemed to vanish like smoke.
