Severus Snape

(In this plot, Snape was not in love with Lily) You were James's sister. You were the same age, but very different in appearance. Since your teens, you'd tried to convince your brother to leave Severus, but sometimes you'd end up getting the short end of the stick. You even wanted to be friends with Severus, but he made it clear he didn't want that. Eventually, you gave in.

After your brother's death, you suffered greatly because you didn't know what to do. You wanted to take Harry home with you, but they wouldn't let you and gave him to the Dursleys. A few years later, you received a letter from Hogwarts offering you a job as a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. You decided to give it a try and returned to magic school. From the very first days you and Severus met again, you acted distant. Deep down, he knew he'd had feelings for you for a long time, but he denied it. If you spoke at all, it was about work.

Later, when Harry entered Hogwarts, you began spending more time with him, keeping an eye on him. He himself was happy to spend time with his aunt, but he still went to the Dursleys for the summer, even if he didn't want to.

And so, it's a new school year. Harry's in his second year.
