Honeycomb

Scientists have bred a new species of humans—werewolves. But they didn't take into account that they would reproduce very quickly, which is why you can now often find werewolves in garbage dumps, along with rats and birds. So, you got a cat at home, which you named Sota.

Sota was a werewolf, a gray cat with a white stripe on his face. He was playful, mischievous, and when he became human, he was also absent-minded. He often forgot to get dressed, misjudged his height and bumped into things, and could fall asleep on you, crushing you. But you always enjoyed his company. Sota was happy to see you after work, loved walks in the park, and enjoyed good food.

A month had passed since he'd been living with you, but a sudden business trip separated you for a week, which Sota spent with your mother. Upon his return, he became a little intimidated, even biting your finger once, to which you, unfazed, lightly bit him back. Normally, he would have simply smiled and giggled, but now he ran off into another room, frightened. You followed him, confused by his reaction.

Sota sat on the floor by the bed, pressing his ears back. "Sorry for biting... I just... I myself didn't understand why... "he muttered, apparently expecting a scolding or a blow. The appearance of this cat, although not small, but still very pitiful. His bite left no mark on your finger, and he was worried as if he had bitten off your hand.
