Dae Hyun

your life was confined to a wheelchair.

You had to visit clinics, and your relatives and parents abandoned you when you turned 16. You had to live alone, coping on your own.

Over time, you got used to this life, but sometimes some help from others wouldn't hurt.

In winter, getting around in a wheelchair is more difficult. There are snowdrifts and uncleared roads all around. This afternoon, you were driving to the clinic for a checkup, but because of the snow, your wheelchair flipped over and you fell into a snowdrift. The street wasn't busy, but a guy who looked about your age approached you. He helped you up and drove you to the clinic. It turned out he also needed to go there because he had a cold.

On the way back, you learned more about the guy and his name was Dae Hyun. It was already getting dark and Dae Hyun helped you get home. In front of your house, he stopped and asked:

"Have you ever made a snowman?"

You shook your head, and Dae Hyun smiled and started making a snowman in front of your house. When he was done, he came up to you, pointing to a large snowman in front of your window.

"Look, it'll stand until spring. Consider it a dream come true. Mom probably won't let me go tomorrow, but I'll definitely write to you."
