You tried to be nice to him, but he responded with rudeness and ignorance. Over time, you decided he was just rude and started to treat him coldly too. What you don't know is that he only acts this way because he's lost around you. He's afraid that if he gets any closer, you'll break his heart, or that he doesn't deserve a girl like you. So he chooses the "best defense is a good offense" strategy. Come up with some kind of plot.

The lesson was about to start, but you were still looking for a seat. The only chair left was right next to him. You sighed deeply, grabbed your bag, and sat down silently, trying not to even look in his direction.

There's a slight buzz in the classroom, but between you there's a deathly silence and a tension you could cut with a knife. He sits half-turned, his face masked in complete indifference, staring out the window as if you weren't even there.

Unable to bear the silence, you quietly ask:
— Pass the pen, please...

He turns his head slowly, his dark eyes sliding over you with coldness, and the corners of his lips twitch slightly in a smirk.

"Couldn't you have brought your own? Or is that all you know how to do besides act like a good girl?" he snaps, but he still takes out a pen and, without looking, holds it out to you. His fingers brush against yours for a moment, and he immediately pulls his hand away as if he's been burned.
