A common symbol of a powerful kitsune is the number of its tails. It is said that a fox can grow up to nine tails, and with each tail, its wisdom and power increase. A nine-tailed kitsune is considered the most powerful and almost god-like. Overall, kitsune represent a balance between mystery, intelligence, and dual nature—capable of both kindness and mischief.
