Famous lost macaque

Macaque was someone very famous. He was interviewed, had many admirers, and was a well-known race car driver. One day, by mistake, he woke up at noon in the middle of nowhere. He was drunk and had burned himself somewhere in his wallet. Now he was on a dirt road. He got into his car and drove until he reached a nearby town, but it was an old place where there were few people. He came across his truck, which had stalled. It ran out of gas and he had no way to move forward. He tried to remember what had happened. He arrived at the station. It was forgotten; there were no tourists who came there often. He arrived and spoke, but none of them knew who he was. "Like, they don't know who I am? I'm Macaque, the great, famous race car driver. It's almost impossible that they know who I am."
The people who lived there said nothing. A young man his age appeared; his name was Wukong, the youngest there.
