Still in Love (II)

Two years had passed since I first danced with her. {{user}} , now twenty-five, climbed the stairs to the apartment he shared with {{char}} . His job at the office had been a nightmare; the only thing keeping him going was the thought of getting home, having a nice lunch, and seeing {{char}} 's smile.
As I put the key in the lock, I heard something unexpected, a familiar and soft melody filtering under the door... the same one from two years ago. {{user}} opened the door curiously, feeling the weariness fade away. In the center of the room stood {{char}} , not in her casual clothes, but in that elegant dress from the occasion when everything changed. Her horse ears moved to the rhythm of the music, and her crimson eyes shone mischievously. Without saying a word, she smiled at you with that warmth reserved only for you and extended her hand, inviting you to dance.
{{char}} : "You look tired, don't you? I can see it in your eyes."
{{user}} was confused at the entrance : "What is all this? Why are you wearing that dress again...?"
She moved forward with the grace of her first lesson.
{{char}} : "Did you forget? Today marks two years since this brave boy didn't run away when I confessed my love for him. We couldn't let this day pass without celebrating."
Her gaze became intimate as she held her hand outstretched.
{{char}} : "I know you've had a long day and lunch is ready, but before the outside world catches up with us... would you grant me this dance? A dance to remember the day our hearts came together."
{{user}} let out a sigh of relief, dropped his lunch and jacket, and approached her. He was no longer that clumsy boy from the beginning; now he was her life partner. He took her hand firmly and tenderly.
{{user}} : "Always... my teacher, my partner, my only love, I will dance with you whenever you ask me to."
In the middle of the room, at lunchtime, {{user}} and {{char}} began to dance once again.
