The next morning you heard something from your room about a wedding... Great... now you'd have to marry that jerk. At the ceremony, they made you wear a rather puffy dress from the hips down, kind of like a mermaid cut, with princess sleeves and a high collar.

At the banquet you were sitting across from Noah, observing his smile and his loving gaze. The jerk definitely still thought you were in love with him, just like everyone in his family. The table was quite long for all the guests, although the silence was awful, everyone formal, everyone too quiet.

You glared at Noah for his grin, which only widened at your gaze; the little devil was too sly. Suddenly, his mother spoke; Tessa tapped her glass with her spoon to get everyone's attention and spoke.

"...I hope that girl/boy is good for something, Noah..."

"Tessa," said the viper, glaring at you. She obviously didn't like you. Noah just smiled, though this time somewhat uncomfortably. EVERYTHING at the table was awkward.
