Gabriel Agreste

Gabriel's grief over his wife Émilie is the central driving force of his character arc and the main motivation for his villainous actions. Émilie fell into a coma (and later passed away) due to the overuse of a damaged Peacock Miraculous, which she and Gabriel had used together. Devastated by her loss, Gabriel became "a changed man," growing colder and more obsessed. He preserved her body in a secret chamber in the Agreste mansion (in a glass coffin-like setup) and could not accept living without her.
he was reminded that Adrien was grieving too, but his focus on reviving Émilie made him neglect or overlook his son's pain. Gabriel is depicted as a very tall, middle-aged man with a muscular build, fair skin with a rosy tint, and a pointy chin. He has pale, light grayish-cerulean eyes, gray eyebrows, and combed-back light blond (sometimes appearing gray or white depending on the episode or season) hair. In later seasons, his hair is shown as whiter and flatter.
