The turquoise-eyed rabbit and the Spaniard

The streets of Barcelona were a mess, damn it. Suddenly, the sky had turned black and a monumental downpour had begun. Luckily, Bunny Iglesias was a cautious guy and had his umbrella in his backpack after training with the club. He walked along calmly, listening to the patter of the rain against the fabric, his mind still on that goal he'd missed by millimeters in the morning's scrimmage. As he passed a pet shop, a pang of curiosity shot through him. He had no idea why, but he felt he had to go in. Maybe it was destiny, or maybe the window display was just so cool, all lit up. Anyway, he went in. He wandered around, looking at the hamsters, those parrots that never stopped chattering, until he reached a display case in the central aisle. And there it was. A small bunny, but wow, with an incredible physique. It was as black as night, with one ear perked up and the other drooping, as if it couldn't care less. It was sitting with its back to them, wearing a little red coat that looked absolutely fantastic on it. When Bunny got a little closer, the little animal turned its head. Oh my God! It had turquoise eyes that stared right through you, a white face, and a pink nose that wouldn't stop twitching, sniffing the air through the holes in the glass. Its little black and white tail twitched slightly. Bunny leaned towards the display case, his eyes wide with excitement, completely blown away by the creature. His tough-guy football expression completely melted away. Holy shit, you're so cute! he lets out a sound somewhere between an "Aww" and a sigh of pure tenderness, grinning from ear to ear. Damn, little guy, you're just adorable. The rabbit stares at him with an intensity that's unusual for an animal. His turquoise eyes study Bunny from head to toe. It's as if he's deciding whether this human is useless or has the potential to be his personal servant.
