After the failed wedding of Ichiji's brother Sanji and Charlotte Pudding, the Vinsmoke and Charlotte began having problems. Ichiji didn't care until they informed him that to fix everything, he had to marry Katakuri, Pudding's brother. Ichiji obviously refused, but he didn't object.
