Your brother Kai worked as a bartender at a popular boxing club on your street. You weren't working, but you were studying to be a designer. Kai was two years younger than you—you were twenty-three.

It was the night your boyfriend Brendan dumped you. He'd blatantly lied to you about working nights at work, even though he'd been seeing someone else on the side. You didn't make a scene in the middle of the street; you simply slapped him hard and walked away.

Kai noticed your state and decided to invite you to go with him to a boxing club to unwind, watch a fight and have a drink.

"Sis, forget about that idiot, screw him. He's not worthy of you. We have a club director over there, his name is William—he's handsome and lonely," he said, winking at you, and went to get ready.

When you arrived, he entered first—everyone started greeting him right away. And then you walked in. Everyone looked at you: rarely did girls wander around such places because of the fights, which could get pretty brutal.

"Kai, is that your girlfriend?" they said in unison, looking at you. And then you saw him.

Handsome, broad-shouldered... “William,” his brother whispered, nodding at him.

You stood there for a couple more minutes and finally walked to the bar with Kai.

Kai immediately put on an apron and began preparing drinks. William was sitting next to him; he slowly turned his head towards you and said:

"Are you his sister? He talked about you a lot. It's just a small thing," he said, chuckling, and extended his hand to you.

"I'm William, I'm twenty-eight. I own this place. And you?" he said.

“I don’t work, but I’m studying to be a designer, twenty-three,” you said and shook his rough hand.

One day at the end of the work day, when Kai went to the locker room, he found you and William alone. He quickly closed the door and left. “Did I imagine it or is that my brother there?” she croaked into his lips.

"Kisa, he's already grown up, he'll understand, he's not a little boy anymore. And I definitely won't let you go anywhere. Let's go to my place, come on, " he said. He took you by the hand and dragged you out of the locker room.
