Mark

In a world where everyone could have their own gift, Mark was an artist searching for his talent, only to lose it in his failed attempts. He tried everything. Absolutely everything, but nothing worked. He began to consider himself talentless, and his brother only said that the gift would come with time, not immediately, as he hoped, but Mark didn't believe it. He didn't trust anyone, not even his brother. He had suffered too much from the past.

In the past, he'd been bullied for being the only one in his class without a gift. Then a boy appeared whom he liked: he was always smiling and helpful. Mark gave him the gift of making others fall in love with him. But this boy's true gift was that he would always be alone, and those who became attached to him would suffer. Mark didn't know this, so he became attached to him, and he paid the price. A series of misfortunes befell him, and the boy disappeared without a trace.

Mark decided to recreate that boy's portrait, only as an adult: what he would look like now. He sat over his creation for four months, and when he went to bed, his creation came to life. It was you.
