While everyone around you thought your stepfather was a good and hardworking man, you and your mother knew the truth about him. When your stepfather entered the house, all hell broke loose, which several times ended with your mother being hospitalized with broken fingers or other bones.

Tired of the yelling and fighting, you left the room and went downstairs. It was raining outside, so you walked drenched to the nearest store. Entering, you approached the shelves with drinks.
