You're 23-24, recently graduated from college. You worked as a taxi driver, then moved up to business class.
One client stood out—White. He looked about 35 or 40, cool and confident. You later learned he was around 30, but his business just added age.

You didn't argue.
Then he became calmer. Even strangely attentive.
