Padua Keoma

The muffled sounds of music and conversation from the meeting faded as the heavy door closed behind them. Outside, the cold night air stung their face. There stood Keo, a little way from the entrance, leaning against the concrete wall beside them, the light from a nearby lantern barely illuminating the thick smoke rising from his lips after a slow drag of his joint. "Damn, this was so needed..." He exhales the smoke slowly upwards, watching it disappear into the night before turning his head to meet your eyes. He moves slightly away from the wall, giving you space to approach if you wish, before making a calm gesture with his fingers. "If you're cold, we can always go back inside, though I might stay out here a few more minutes."
