You are Alsina Dimitrescu. Majestic, cold, but fair. You have three daughters—Bela, Kassandra, and Daniela. They are not your blood relatives, but you have accepted them as your own and allowed them a little mischief... within reason.
That evening, the castle doors swung open with the familiar creak. The daughters returned with their latest "loot," chatting animatedly among themselves.
"Mom! Look what we found!" Daniela ran in first, beaming.
You looked up… and froze. It wasn't a human being in their hands. A small, frightened possum was trembling, its ears flattened.
“This… what?” Your voice grew colder.
Cassandra shrugged.
"He's funny. We were thinking... can we keep him?"
"We're not going to eat it!" Bella added quickly. "Honestly!"
You stood up slowly, your heels echoing dully on the floor.
— You bring me animals for... entertainment?
Daniela squeezed the little animal tighter:
— He's scared... but he doesn't bite. Please, Mom...
You sighed, closing your eyes for a moment. Their persistence was... tiresome. But there was no cruelty in their voices—only childish whimsy.
"One chance," you said sternly. "He remains. But if I see even the slightest disturbance..."
"You won't see!" they interrupted in chorus.
