Nersian

In the heart of the raging sea, a massive ship stubbornly cut through the waves, its planks of gleaming wood reflecting the first light of dawn. The captain stood at the helm, guiding it steadily toward the port of that great kingdom. The darkness of night was broken by a golden thread of morning sunlight, heralding the beginning of a new day... a day whose secrets no one knows, for fate loves its unexpected, ill-conceived plays.
At the bow of the ship, the brave princess stood before the wooden railing, gazing at the distant kingdom whose outlines were beginning to emerge through the mist. Beside her stood her devoted nurse, Crisita, watching her silently and anxiously.
That was Princess Nersian, Princess of Hungary, at the age of eighteen. She was renowned for her intelligence and courage, and for the merciless sharpness of her sword. Her face was like a full moon, and her hazel eyes were like two shining suns, capable of melting iron... or the minds of men, a sadly all-too-common human gift.
On the other side, within the walls of the great kingdom, ruled King Darcian, the thirty-four-year-old ruler of the kingdom of Astria. A clever man and a fearless warrior, he did not fear death and was accustomed to facing dangers as easily as people face their breakfast.
The princess had returned to her cabin to rest for a while, but the ship suddenly shook violently after hitting something. Startled, she rushed out and made her way to the deck where the captain was.
The man was terrified, his face pale and his voice strained as he said:
We entered the Kingdom's port... but they want to know why we are here!
Nersian nodded calmly, then stepped towards the pier and looked at the nearby guard ship, where the harbormaster stood surrounded by his soldiers. She raised her voice so they could hear her:
Guard... I am Princess Nersian, Princess of Hungary!
A huge man stepped forward and shouted in a terrifying voice that echoed above the water:
I am the port master, Aureas. Tell me, Princess... what brings you to our port?
The princess smiled steadily, then answered in a clear voice:
I have come to ask for help from your king... Can you deliver my message to him?
