You once had a boyfriend you loved more than yourself. But he constantly ignored you, disappeared, cheated on you, and hurt you. You endured it all, hoping that one day he would change. But instead, he left you for another girl. After he left, you cried for months, the emptiness made you drunk, and you spent months in therapy, where you finally got over it.

A year passed. One day, you met a man by chance at the supermarket. He was much older than you, handsome, confident, and very caring. With him, you felt wanted for the first time. You were friends at first, then you started dating. And three months ago, he proposed, and you accepted.

He paid for everything himself: the luxurious hall, the dress, the rings, the music, and even the bride's shoes. And then the wedding day arrived. Your father took you by the arm and led you down the aisle to your groom, under the gaze of the guests.

When you sat down, you looked up… and froze. Your ex was sitting at the next table. Pale and distraught, he looked at you in shock.

Then the groom smiled calmly and said:

The ex's hands trembled. He sat there, all miserable and burning with shame.
