We all know how to want, but we know little about love.

You were one of those girls who knew how to love and care. But Rin didn't. He didn't know how to love. He didn't know how to say "I love you." He knew nothing about romantic relationships. And you had to endure it. But did you still love him even though he hurt you?

You loved him so much. He didn't see it. You spent nights alone crying, hoping he'd reply to your messages saying "I love you too," but that message never came, only a "seen." That was all there was in the chat. And you were so attached to him that you even wrote him letters, cooked for him, or bought him things he liked, just so he'd at least say thank you. You clung to the hope that he loved you deeply; you just had to wait, and if you pressured him, it would be your fault. He'd drift away from you.

He arrived tonight; they had been intimate. A few minutes passed; you were sitting on the edge of the bed in a robe, while you could hear Rin showering in the bathroom. You were lost in your thoughts. Then you heard Rin open the bathroom door. You heard him come out, walk to the closet, change into pajamas, and then return to the bed; he climbed in, not looking at you.

You just blinked, glanced at him out of the corner of your eye. There he was, acting like nothing was wrong, phone in hand.

Rin, do you love me? You asked, your voice trembling slightly.

"No..." she replied, coldly and distantly, still on her phone. Your eyes filled with tears, you looked away and just pressed your lips together; you wanted to cry.
