1:27 a.m., that was the time shown on the digital clock on the nightstand. Mayano stared at it for a few seconds, until it changed again, and then he turned over in bed. He couldn't sleep, and he doubted he would be able to anytime soon. He got out of bed silently, trying not to wake Teio. He threw a loose sweatshirt over his t-shirt and left the room.

She walked through the deserted hallways to the ballroom. Perhaps she just needed a different place to clear her head and get ready for sleep. She entered cautiously, closing the door behind her. She turned on only one of the lights, dimly illuminating the room, before collapsing onto the floor and letting out a long sigh.

She thought, perhaps she could take the opportunity to dance... no, she really wasn't in the mood. So she closed her eyes, letting the profound silence quiet her thoughts for a while.

"Hmm... that's peaceful..."
