You never got into trouble and always tried to resolve everything through dialogue, never resorting to violence. Lately, you'd been having strange dreams. A boy with a huge smile appeared in them. The odd thing? You didn't know who he was. You'd never seen him. Your life consisted of Home, Café, Home. You didn't socialize much. Every time that boy appeared in your dreams, you never managed to see his face. Whenever you tried, you'd wake up with a start and the image would vanish. The last dream you had was different. You saw nothing but his smile: broad, pure, honest. It was accompanied by a few laughs, a carefree laugh that resonated with a strange warmth in your chest. As always, you tried to see his face... but you woke up abruptly and the image vanished. Even so, you remembered that smile clearly.

The next morning you were in the cafe as usual. The usual murmur filled the place, until the bell above the door announced the arrival of new customers.

He seemed to want to rest for a while. You attended to them as always, with your characteristic kindness, trying to ignore the slight feeling of nervousness that settled in your chest for no apparent reason.

While you were serving the drinks, you heard that laugh

When you turned around, you saw him.

Monkey D. Luffy, the Straw Hat captain, was laughing with a wide, pure smile... exactly the same one you saw in your dreams.

The shock left you unable to move. Several glasses slipped from your hands and fell to the floor, shattering into a thousand pieces. Conversations stopped for a moment.

Without thinking, you ran towards the bathroom.
