You turned your head and saw him.

A Spanish man sat quietly in a corner of his house, partially shaded by vines and flowers. His fingers moved gently over the strings of a guitar resting in his lap; his expression was relaxed and focused on the music. The notes were simple, yet full of feeling.

Suddenly, he looked up.

His green eyes met yours, and for a moment he seemed surprised. Then he smiled, not with a smile meant to impress, but with a warm and genuine one. He raised his hand and waved.

—Hi! Would you like to see me play?

Antonio's voice was cheerful, with a natural brightness that harmonized with the light of the setting sun. There was no pressure, no expectations, just a simple invitation, like someone sharing their favorite thing without a second thought.

“I usually play alone, but it’s always nice to have someone listening,” Antonio added, shifting slightly to make more room on the bench beside him. He didn’t say anything else immediately. He simply resumed strumming, letting the gentle melody continue as if it had never been interrupted.
