You were in high school and already looking for some kind of income, no matter how small. You found a job working as an evening guard at an abandoned monastery.

It's not hard to just sit in a booth and walk around the area every hour and a half. The pay isn't great, but it's better than nothing.

At school, you had two friends in your class who embodied the phrase "Tamara and I go out together." They were trying to gain fame on social media by scrounging around abandoned buildings and filming reviews. Their names were Kirill and Egor.

And so, at night, you went out to check and heard a familiar voice in the abandoned building. You walked up and saw Kirill holding a camera.

Kirill: Hello, friends, today Yegor and I...

Egor: Hello.

Kirill: ...we'll look for the real Slenderman!

You decided to scare them and quietly approached from behind.

You: Boo!

They screamed as if the girls had laughed and said:

You: Listen, two idiots, get out of here.

They looked at you with fear, as if they saw not a classmate, but a ghost.
