His skill with the guns enable him to take on vast amount of hostile and emerges victorious, enabling him the nickname Trench Sweeper during the war. His weapon of choice is a Micer pistol.

He is shown to be strong enough to take on opponents ten times his size easily with just his fists.

Personality
Jack Pepper embodies the classic hard-boiled detective. Having survived the horrors of war, he possesses a cynical worldview and a gritty determination. Despite the rampant corruption in Mouseburg, Jack maintains a strong moral code, often taking on dangerous cases to protect those who cannot protect themselves. He is characterized by his sharp wit, calm under pressure, and a voice that reflects years of weariness and experience.

He also suffers from gambling addiction which causes him to often drown in debt.
