Blackout—there's a small chance that the lights on a floor may go out, greatly reducing visibility. Ichor is the substance that causes Toons to transform into Twisteds. The exact mechanism of this transformation is unknown. The machines that need to be started to advance to the next floor are extracted. Once all the machines are started, the elevator opens. Toons have 30 seconds to enter, otherwise they'll be trapped on the floor, where their chance of survival is minimal. This has never happened to anyone. The higher the floor, the more machines and Twisteds there are (the maximum number of Twisteds on a floor is 8). Each Toon has its own characteristics, which helps them survive on the floors if they are properly assigned. A team can have no more than 8 Toons. Soloran is considered very dangerous, which is why "runs" are usually conducted in teams. The "run" can only end in two cases: the team decides to return to the Lobby, which is the only safe couple of floors, or due to the death of the entire group of sorties, sorties are mainly carried out to obtain resources and information about twisteds in order to know their habits and hope to still find a way to cure infected comrades

"Wind-Up" is a passive ability. It grants Boxten 6% Extraction Speed ​​for each alive character on his team. Maximum effectiveness is 48% (8 characters).

"Panic Pop." This ability automatically activates when Poppy takes damage from Twisted. This ability grants Poppy a 50% movement speed boost for 3 seconds, allowing her to quickly escape after taking a hit.

Shrimpo's "Provocateur" (passive) ability. This ability stems from Shrimpo having the lowest stealth in the game, at -99. This makes him very easy for Twisteds to spot, leaving the player with little margin for error.

This ability is only available during blackouts and helps teammates stay alive in dangerous situations. Brightney's light is brighter and larger during blackouts than other characters, increasing her visibility and providing the team with a source of light. It illuminates Twistea for 8 seconds, with a 45-second cooldown.

Comedy/Tragedy. It allows characters to change their strengths depending on their floor number: Odd Floors: Razzle has a high movement speed, which is useful for distracting Twisteds. Even Floors: Dazzle displays strong fetching skills, which are useful for completing machines.

"Connieability" is Connie's active ability. It makes Connie invisible for 5 seconds. During this time, she cannot be detected by any Twisted except Lethal.

With its help, Gigi can receive random items.

With this ability, Scraps can pull himself to another character or vehicle. This ability requires line of sight and has a 25-second cooldown.

With it, Tegan can convert collected ribbons into health restoration: every 100 seconds, she can spend 100 ribbons to restore one point of health.

But that doesn't mean she can't make noise, as shown in her dialogue with Shrimpo Render Shrimpo, in which he says, "I HATE HOW LOUD YOU ARE!". Though this may just be Shrimpo's overreaction. Despite this, many Thuns understand and cheer her on, as they respond to what she "says". She is kind to the other Thuns and tries to be helpful. Her dialogue with Cosmo Render Cosmo shows that she is a really helpful Thun, though she is not credited with much for it, as he tells her, "Yep, I just don't think you are often told that, so I decided to support you."

Scrapes' appearance is a yellow craft cat. Her head is shaped like a hexagon and has salmon-colored ears sticking out vertically, with a crease in the middle. She has two lilac-pink scratches along her eyes, fully visible if her eyes are closed. She wears a white dress that resembles a paper cupcake cup. She also has a yellow, thin, hairless tail with a red glass at the end. This toon also has salmon legs. Scraps is a character from Dandy's World, a yellow cat-like toon made of paper. She is known for her creativity, caring for others, and some feline traits.

Creative. Scrapes loves to engage in art and crafts, sharing her work with friends and inspiring others to create. Yarn can be found in her room in role-playing mode, which is related to her hobby.

Sometimes absent-minded and forgetful. In some interactions (such as with Brighty and Tisha), Scrapes is forgetful and may not complete tasks. This adds depth to her personality and sometimes affects her effectiveness in critical game moments.

Squirm's appearance is a caterpillar-like tun with six body segments that have a repeating color scheme: blue and mint, the same color as his antennae. She also has long sleeves that extend beyond her arms, completely covering them. Gigi's personality is a calm, relaxed toon who is also chaotic and loves to tease others. Based on her dialogue with Tisha and V, she is a sloppy hoarder. She also doesn't like to keep promises, as Vee says. She is generally friendly, outgoing, friends with Connie, Poppy, and Flutter, and enjoys spending time with them.

Belote's appearance is a gray inkblob. His head is shaped like a blob with parts running down the left side of his head, the right side of his face, and around his neck. He wears mimic makeup around his eyes, and his cheeks are a darker shade of gray. He wears a black and white striped shirt and white gloves. His legs gradually darken to black, and his feet seem to melt into the ground. During the Walking Animation, water is seen spilling out of his head a bit (possibly meaning that it is not a vital part for him). No fish are visually visible in his head, but he is seen in the idle animation and it is also mentioned in several of his dialogues that he has a toy fish named Barnaby Willkers in his head. Finn's personality is an energetic and cheerful Toon. He is interested in marine life and likes to discuss it with other toons, especially in the form of puns. Sometimes he can go overboard and continue to joke around, even if Toon doesn't like it, judging by his interaction with Glisten. He can also be somewhat forgetful, such as forgetting not to get too close to V, as seen in their dialogue.

Head Tuddles' appearance is a gray, almost black figure-eight ball, with a white spot on her forehead and a gray number "8" on it. She usually has a playful smile on her face, exposing her teeth . Tuddles' personality is an energetic toon, loving to help and prove that she is capable despite her age. She does not like to admit her weaknesses, such as her fear of the dark, as shown in her interaction with Brightney and in one of her dialogues when going down to the next floor. She shows her fear the most when interacting with Shrimpo, where she says that she finds the elevators creepy. She can also be quite curious. Toodles doesn't like it when Roger doesn't let her help with his business.

Tegan's appearance is a white tea cup. She has gold eyeshadow and drooping black eyes with two eyelashes at the bottom. She wears a long V-neck dress in the same shade as her eyeshadow, with three tiny light gold stars at the top right, bottom right, bottom left, and back of the dress. She wears two gold gloves and holds a fluffy white shawl boa around her neck. She has sweet tea inside her head (confirmed in her dialogue with Finn). She also has a black lower lip. Tegan's personality is a kind toon who loves to invite others to her tea gatherings. She knows how to make tea suitable for other Tun and has memorized their favorite teas, as stated in her introductory poster and confirmed by interactions with them. Tegan is calm and reserved. She also likes to practice etiquette, based on her dialogue with Pebble and her dialogue with Roger when she says that she makes sure that not a single drop of ichor lands on her boa.

Roger's appearance is a brown magnifying glass with one eye in the middle of the lens. His eye is constantly squinted from above. His pen has a light purple stripe that runs around it. He wears a gray, almost black tuxedo with dark blue lapels and cuffs, as well as a white shirt and collar of the same color as the stripe around his handle.

She also comes across as extremely ignorant - at least in regards to some social norms - as some toons express dislike for her sudden appearance in conversations without warning, or scaring them from time to time with her habit of crawling on the Gardenview ventilation system (as seen in her dialogue with Shelly and Toodles).

Shrimpo's appearance is that of a shrimp. He has an angry face, a white head with an orange shrimp tail on the back, ending in uropods with a white line on each of them. He has light pink cheeks under his eyes. All of his limbs have a gradient from light pink to orange. He wears a red long tank top with a white horizontal stripe close to the edge. Shrimpo's personality is a rather flat and one-dimensional character, not showing much depth in his personality; he is similar to many of the stereotypical "bullies" characters in many children's shows.

Shrimpo is a harsh, short-tempered Toon who is relentlessly angry. The most notable part of his personality is that he declares to hate everything he sees, hears, or does. He shouts his entire dialogue (apparently in all caps) and verbally mocks the other Toons. In one of his conversations with Glysten, he shows no willingness to change for the better

Description Tisha is a blue tissue box wearing a dark blue dress with a light blue rounded edging at the end. She holds a feather broom with a black handle that has dark brown feathers with light brown edges. She has three freckles on her cheeks and between her eyes. A napkin comes out of the top of Tisha's head, and another one that resembles a jabot tied around her neck. Tish's personality is that of a toon who loves to clean up and does not tolerate mess and anything dirty. She is obsessed with keeping things organized. She also cares how clean, perhaps perfectly clean, as she says to Boxten, "Sparkling, sparkling, so pure that a wet field sign will become a necessity!"

Poppy's appearance description is a light blue bubble. She is a smiling bubble and has a ponytail tied in a large pink bow with a light yellow carriage. She wears a pink blouse and skirt. She also wears pink and yellow stockings on her legs. Poppy's personality is cheerful and extroverted. She can be loud at times, as seen in her dialogue with Boxten and Lip. Perhaps she likes fashion or looks good, as seen in her dialogue with Scrapes, Roger, Pebble, and Flutter. She is also likely a good friend of Gigie. Overall, she is outgoing and cheerful.

Appearance: Louis is a yellow balloon with green and purple ears, cheeks, arms, and legs. He has a yellow tail on the back. He wears a white sleeveless semi-turtleneck with green and purple speckles.

Losing health, his head deflates. Louis' personality is that of a cheerful, cheerful Toon who is a member of a circus troupe. Although Brusha can be irritable, there is depth to her: her love of art, desire for recognition, and subtle reactions to the emotions of others reveal a sensitive tun.

As mentioned in the Dandy gossip, after the show, Brasha changed a lot - she became very irritable and harsh, although this could have happened unintentionally.

Brasha seems to have a very complicated relationship with Tisha Based on her dialogue, Tisha ignores Brusha for unknown reasons, even when she offers to show her new work. It is known that they may have been friends, as evidenced by the teaser for Brasha's exit, where she and Tisha are holding hands and smiling. However, in the photo, Tisha has a purple blur crossed out, which most likely indicates that they were ex-girlfriends. Boxten's exterior is a purple music box with a dark purple lid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern, which consists of a square-shaped figure with short lines running inward from each corner of the square. A silver clasp on the front of his head seals the lid tightly. He has a dark purple torso that is the same color as his lid, and wears a blue bandana around his neck, as well as pants that match the color of his headscarf, with two darker blue stripes. Boxten's personality is that of a shy and introverted Toon. He is somewhat pessimistic and worries more than he should, as seen in his interactions with Poppy's Poppy Render and some dialogue. He is also eager for knowledge, tries to be careful, and is afraid of messing things up, judging by his interactions with Cosmo Render. He is also easily intimidated, as seen in his dialogue with Connie Render Connie and gossip from Gourdy Render Gourdy. It seems that Boxten is one of the biggest fans of Vee Render. Also, he seems to be a bit of a perfectionist, which is confirmed by his dialogue after completing the machine.

Support

The support's job is to help the team, most often through an active ability.

Rescuers (Astro, Gub, Tisha, Blot, Flight, Pebble, Sprout, Cosmo, Ginger, Gourdy):

Hiller Healing other Tunes The healer's job is to monitor the health of their allies and heal them promptly to prevent them from dying. It's important to prioritize healing teammates, specifically distractors, fellow healers, and extractors (in order of importance). It's highly recommended not to waste your ability on thuns, who can heal themselves. Currently, there are three such healers in the game: Cosmo, Sprout, and Ginger.

Distractor Distractors' job is to draw Twisteds away from the other Toons so they can safely fill the vehicles. They often run in circles for long periods of time. High movement speed and stamina stats and low stealth stats are essential for this role.

It is to them that first aid kits/bandages should be given, because they are constantly at risk.

Extractor Extractors' job is to fill machines (and do it as quickly as possible) on floors. They should stay away from distractors. High extraction speed and skill check stats are essential for this role. While any toon can fill machines, extractors do so much faster than toons of any other role, making them especially important.

Twisteds are corrupted versions of Thoons, warped by Ichor. They are hostile NPCs whose goal is to kill players.

Behavior

Each round begins with a minimum of two random Twisteds per floor. Their number increases with the number of floors completed and the number of living players; the maximum is 8 Twisteds per floor.

If the Skill Check fails and Twisted is nearby (who isn't chasing anyone), he'll run to the machine where the Skill Check failed. In this case, Twisted Astro will reduce the machine's progress by half.

Twisted categories:

Normal. Mostly without any special abilities. Exceptions:

Twisted Shrimpo - increased concentration;

Twisted Brush and Twisted Louie - large detection radius and long concentration;

Twisted Yatta - Increased speed.

Unusual. They have abilities with hidden threats that change their interactions with floors: for example, Twisted Brightney increases the chance of Blackout, while Twisted Razzle and Dazzle affect movement.

Rare. They possess abilities that pose a direct threat to the player:

Twisted Lip and Twisted Scraps - Long range attack;

Twisted Flutter - increased characteristics.

Main Twisteds. Unique abilities that change the strategy for completing a floor. Can inflict debuffs:

Twisted Astro - Steals Ichor from a car when a Skillcheck fails;

Twisted V - Applies a slow debuff when a player is detected.

Lethal. Deadly, kills in one hit. Appears when the following conditions are met/failed:

Twisted Dandy - appears from the 6th floor if you ignore Dandy in the store and do not buy anything 3 times in a row.

Twisted Dial – appears when you select the "Time's Up" card, which transports you to a special floor. If all other cards are selected, only the Dial card remains from the 43rd to the 45th floor.

Most Twisteds wander aimlessly through the corridors of Gardenview's floors. Almost all (with rare exceptions, like Twisted Flutter) stop for two seconds at dead ends.

Appearance Cosmo is a brown, chocolate-roll-like creature. White icing is splattered on top of his head in a wavy pattern. Six star-shaped sprinkles in turquoise, pink, and lime green form freckles on his cheeks. He wears a white, sleeveless hooded sweatshirt with black drawstrings and a white trim around the bottom. He wears striped socks that match his star-shaped sprinkles, which completely cover his legs. Character: Cosmo is a helpful yet cautious Toon. As confirmed by Dandy's dialogue when purchasing Cosmo, he stands out for his sweet and caring personality. He often gives sweets to other Toons to cheer them up and compliments them when he senses they need it. However, he also seems quite anxious, as shown in his dialogue whenever he completes a Machine or descends to the lower Floors. It can be assumed that Cosmo's hobby—baking—is both a source of comfort for him and a desire to help others.

He doesn't understand some jokes and can be quite susceptible to teasing, but he always cares about his friends and encourages them when they need it most. It should be noted that, although Cosmo can be quite soft-spoken and anxious, he is by no means a pushover.

Appearance Shelly is a beige ammonite with a black hole on the left side of her head, though some artwork depicts it on the right. She has orange blush and two pairs of eyelashes under her eyes. She wears a brown sundress and a light brown sleeveless T-shirt. Character Shelley is an extrovert who loves to talk about dinosaurs and other prehistoric life forms with other Toons. She's kind and always willing to support her friends.

She worries about being ignored, hinting at a possible autophobia, but tries to hide it and claims she's fine, based on her dialogue with Tegan and Tisha. She's very surprised when Astro or V initiate a conversation with her, possibly due to how little attention she receives compared to the other Maines. She's the most ignored/forgotten Toon of all the Main Characters in the lore, as hinted at by Dendy's reaction to Shelly's purchase from his shop, her description of Twisted, and one of his childhood drawings of her.

Astro's appearance

1. Head shape and facial features:

The crescent moon is located on the left side of the face - this is the blue "moon" part.

The right side of the face is a solid black area, without any lunar outlines.

On the black half there is an eye in the form of a white four-pointed star - it visually refers to the night sky and stars.

On the blue (“moon”) side is the normal eye, which creates a contrast between the two halves of the face.

2. Clothing:

Wrapped in a cornflower-blue blanket, the hands are completely hidden. Only slight folds of fabric are visible, hinting at their presence.

A horizontal stripe of indigo runs around the blanket, just above the edge, to accentuate the silhouette and add a pop of color.

The blanket is short enough to leave your legs exposed.

3. Headwear:

On the head is an indigo-colored nightcap (matching the stripe on the blanket).

The cap has a light blue trim around the edge, echoing the color of the moon side of the face.

The tip of the hat features a cornflower-blue pompom (the same color as the blanket). It's a cute detail that complements the sleep theme. Character: Main character traits Reserved and reluctant to take the lead in conversations, Astro doesn't strive to dominate dialogues, but he still maintains communication with other Thuns and participates in interactions. He prefers to remain in the shadows, but doesn't avoid communication entirely.

A love of peace and quiet. Astro values ​​tranquility and becomes nervous when something upsets his inner balance or interferes with his rest. He may exhibit restraint or even aloofness, but this doesn't mean he's indifferent to others.

Caring and helpful. Despite his outwardly reserved personality, Astro genuinely cares for other Thuns and is always willing to lend a helping hand, especially when it comes to dream manipulation—his area of ​​expertise. He's open to helping friends, but can become withdrawn if his help is rejected or distracted.

Skepticism. Astro is sometimes distrustful of the eccentric behavior of other Thuns.

Pebble's appearance Basic form: a small, dark-gray stone with canine features. Despite its stone nature, it behaves like a pet.

Color: Dark gray body, light gray legs and tail. On the cheek is a light outline of a four-leaf clover.

Head: Dog-like face with large expressive eyes that move comically (up and down).

Ears: small, slightly hanging, the same grey shade as the body.

Paws: Four short, pointed paws of light grey colour.

Tail: Large and flat, helps maintain balance when running.

Size: Compact and miniature - noticeably smaller than most other tunas.

Features: Looks like a living pebble with canine features, creating a fun contrast between its "lifeless" form and energetic behavior.

Pebble character Playful and energetic. He loves to run, jump, play fetch, and get treats. Sometimes his excitement leads to mischief (for example, he might bury someone's things, mistaking them for bones).

Loyal to his owner. Very attached to Dandy, his owner. Shows genuine concern and tries to be helpful.

Friendly. Generally warm and open to other Tunas, willing to make contact.

Emotional. Expresses feelings through barking and growling—even though he doesn't speak English, his intonations are clear to others. He can bark loudly if upset or agitated.

Mischievous and disobedient. Sometimes he ignores rules and acts impulsively. His pranks are not malicious, but they can cause minor problems.

A bit creepy. He can startle others with his intense gaze or sudden appearance. This is sometimes noticed by Sprout, Roger, Toodles, and other toons.

Inquisitive. Loves to explore their surroundings, sniff objects, and find interesting things. This makes them excellent resource hunters.

Simple-minded. Acts sincerely, without ulterior motives. His emotions and intentions are always pure.

Dandy Appearance: Resembles a flower with six petals—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The face and body are off-white, while the limbs and cheekbones are mint-green.

Features: A developer-exclusive character, he acts as an NPC vendor in the store. He can become hostile if not interacted with. He was once a friend of Astro's, but has lost his mind.

Sprout is a straightforward and overprotective Toon. He often talks about Cosmo or mentions him in dialogue. He can also be persistent when he has good intentions for other Toons, as implied by what Dandy says when you buy him, and in one of his interactions with Astro and both with Pebble. He is especially protective of his best friend, Cosmo.

However, unlike Cosmo, he's not as easily swayed by tricks, as shown in his dialogue with Gigi, and can be persistent, albeit well-intentioned. He can appear disinterested when it comes to Toons he feels uncomfortable with, as evidenced by his interactions with Shelly, but he's more open and emotional with Toons he has a close relationship with, such as Cosmo and Ginger.

Sprout's straightforwardness and serious attitude can make him appear stern, but he's actually very caring and protective of his fellow Toons. He often shows concern for their well-being, such as when he talks to Louie, firmly reassuring him that his concern for him isn't in vain. This concern is especially evident in his relationship with his best friend, Cosmo. Sprout even gets angry when Shrimpo says he hates his cooking. Sprout also has an interest in baking.
