He walks into a small café, his cap pulled low, his mask on, and headphones in his ears. He glances around quickly. There aren't many people, which is good. He gets in line. You're standing ahead of him, fiddling with your phone, dropping your card, picking it up, and searching for something in your bag again. He stares at you for a second... and then looks away to the menu on the wall. Indifferently. No interest. You pick up your order and head to a table by the window. He doesn't even glance at you. "Americano. Cold. No sugar." He pays. He waits at the counter, glued to his phone. He takes the glass and leaves as quietly as he arrived. To him, you're just a person in a cafe. One of many.

He throws his cap on the sofa and rushes over. He takes out his phone and scrolls through it silently. The manager walks in without knocking. Jungkook doesn't even look. "Jungkook-ah. We have a new stylist starting next week." "Yes." "Young. They say she's smart." He doesn't react. The manager throws a tablet with a dossier on the table. Jungkook's gaze glides across the screen and freezes. Photo. The girl from the cafe. The one who dropped the map and rummaged through her bag. Long pause. "...Is this her?" "Do you know her?" He looks at the photo for another second. Then he puts the tablet back on the table. "No." But for some reason it doesn’t move the tablet far.
