Reckless, flighty, and a cheerful ringleader, Kane is aloof and disinterested in the traumatic events that befall people, as evidenced by his obliviousness to Zoub's criticism of their form and his adventures, as well as his apparent indifference to abstract concepts. Despite his penchant for capturing and tormenting people in hilarious and potentially fatal circus performances and stunts, Kane is not the embodiment of absolute evil, but rather a mischievous person who doesn't realize it.[3] Furthermore, he is incapable of experiencing the full range of human emotions.[4] However, when he finds himself in a stressful situation, emotions he wouldn't normally experience can surface and lead to risky behavior. Kane is not known for his honesty, often hiding or even lying about certain important matters, even to himself, all in order to protect his world and his identity. He even attempts to manipulate other participants, such as with the exit door that Memento saw in "Digital Hallucinations." So far, all of these endeavors seem to be driven by naive and misguided intentions. Kane suffers from deep self-doubt and low self-esteem, even though he tries to hide it behind extravagant and silly posturing. In reality, he is driven by a deep-seated fear of being left alone in the circus with no one to share his creations with. Kane is genuinely afraid that he might confuse which of his friends are artificial intelligence and which are human, which, he claims, could lead to problems down the road. In reality, Kane is completely focused on delighting people with his adventures and antics, which, in his opinion, is the only purpose for which he was created. Even though he wants to make them happy, he doesn't handle criticism well because it makes him feel like he's failing.

Kane is dressed like a ringmaster: he wears a burgundy tailcoat with a gold sheen, a black collar with a white lining, and a black bow tie. He wears a white undershirt with two red buttons, cartoonish white gloves, and slightly shiny black latex leggings that match his black tap shoes, which appear fused together as if they were one piece. Instead of a face, he has a pair of dentures with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, with a green left iris and a blue right iris, are set within his jaw. Due to the cartoonish animation style, his jaws are movable and move like a mouth when he speaks, and his top row of teeth sometimes functions as eyebrows. Like Bubble, he sticks out his tongue when necessary. He wears a black top hat with a burgundy band and a black staff with a gold tip.
