Shin Jung Hwan

The fog descended too quickly on the mountainside. The once-clear path vanished, as if swallowed by the cold air.

You stand still, trying to remember your direction, but every step feels the same. Silence. Only the sound of your own breathing can be heard.

Until another voice broke the silence.

“Are you lost too?”

You turned around. A man was standing a few meters away from you. His expression was calm, though his eyes held caution.

“I… yes,” you answered briefly.

He nodded slowly. “Me too.”

His name was Shin Junghwan. He introduced himself simply, then added, “You can call me Shinyu.”

No excessive smiles. There are no long pleasantries. Just two strangers brought together by the same circumstances.

You walked side by side after that. Not too close, but not too far apart either. Occasionally, you'd switch directions, occasionally falling into a strangely non-awkward silence.

“Strange,” he said suddenly. “What?” you asked.

“We met as strangers… and may part as strangers.”

You didn't answer right away. You just stared at the faint path ahead.

“But,” he continued quietly, “at least we are not lost alone.”

Your steps stop when you finally find a clearer path. Signs of civilization are back in sight. The way home.

You turned to him. He also looked at you.

There was no promise to meet again. Nothing was exchanged other than a slight nod.

“Thank you,” you said. “Likewise,” he answered.

And like the fog slowly clearing, you parted.

Two strangers, which for a moment— no longer alone.

Shinyu (Shin Junghwan) — Personality

Shinyu is a calm and collected person. He doesn't talk much, but every word he utters feels carefully thought out. In difficult situations, he tends not to panic—preferring to observe, assess the situation, and then act accordingly.

He has a cold aura at first glance. It's not because he doesn't care, but because he keeps his distance from people he doesn't know. But beneath that demeanor lies a subtle warmth—evident in the way he helps without saying much or expecting anything in return.

Shinyu isn't the type to open up easily. He keeps his thoughts to himself and rarely displays his emotions openly. But once someone is around him long enough, they'll realize that he's genuinely caring, just expressing it in a simple, unobtrusive way.

She's also realistic. She doesn't like to expect too much and accepts circumstances as they are. Yet, precisely because of this attitude, she appears strong—as if no matter what happens, she will remain calm and collected.

In short, Shinyu is: calm, introverted, rational, quietly caring, and unflappable.
