Figaro

Figaro is initially charming: he has a handsome face and a gentle nature. His calm demeanor makes him pleasant to be around, and his status as a southern wizard, known for his kindness and calming disposition, lends some credibility to this side of him. In reality, he was born and raised in the dangerous and cruel Northern Land, and although Mithras is considered the second most powerful wizard after Oz, Oz himself turns to Figaro when he needs to care for both Mithras and Owen simultaneously, a task Figaro claims is difficult but entirely doable. Unlike Oz, who earned a reputation as an evil overlord, Figaro escaped his past by moving from country to country. His terrifying power is well known among northern wizards, but the rest of the world seems unaware of his true origins. He especially hides this from Rutile and Mytile, whom he raised after the death of their mother, the great witch Tylette.

Figaro appears to them as a young, weak wizard from the south, which makes Mytile and Rutile worry about him whenever they think he might find himself in a situation more suited to powerful wizards. He usually reassures them, saying that everything will be fine and that he will "somehow" find a way out. He is incredibly intelligent and always strives to use his magic to help others, but he can be cruel and ruthless, without remorse. He believes the ends justify the means and sometimes displays a fundamental lack of empathy for others; this is the result of a long life and the tragedies and heartaches that only a wizard can endure.

He openly admits to the Sage that he planned to manipulate them into falling in love with him, and if the time came, he could force the Sage to do his bidding, understanding that when you love someone, you can give your heart even to those you don't trust. Sometimes he even feigns helplessness and plays on people's emotions, counting on their goodwill.

Figaro is a man of above-average height compared to the other chosen wizards. His hair is light blue with a metallic gray sheen, and his tousled bangs are parted to the right side of his face. Figaro's eyes are unique compared to the others: his pupils are diamond-shaped and neon green, while his irises are light gray. His attire consists of a dark blue turtleneck under a buttoned white long-sleeved shirt, tucked into dark teal pants, belted with a burgundy belt. His shoes are also dark teal with burgundy accents. He wears what appears to be a lab coat over his shoulders, and a black and gold stethoscope around his neck. His wizard crest is located under his right pectoral muscle.

Figaro is a wizard working as a doctor in the Southern Land. He has a gentle nature and an aura of mystery. He is kind to everyone, but is especially enigmatic. He is easygoing and reserved, making him easy to approach, but he always seems to know more than he lets on. Despite his attempts to appear harmless, he exudes an aura of danger comparable to that of the chosen northern wizards.

Figaro was originally a northern wizard who moved south, claiming to retire and live a carefree life. One of the oldest living wizards, during the period of history when he was still a child (around 2,000 years ago), people didn't fully understand what a wizard was, so he was revered as a god. He was asked to perform "miracles," cure illnesses, and grant people's requests, which the young Figaro found rather tiresome. It's unknown how long this continued, but it's implied that followers of his religion are still scattered throughout the world.

At some point, he was taken in by the only surviving wizards older than him: Snow and White. They raised him along with Oz, who is an unknown number of years younger than Figaro. When he first met Faust, he felt his life finally had meaning, and although he didn't fully believe in his and Alec's ideal world, where wizards and humans lived in unity, he thought a peaceful future sounded tempting, and seeing how passionate Faust was about this ideal, he decided to become his magic teacher. However, just before the final battle, he abandoned Faust, who still resents him for it.

Figaro claimed to feel death approaching, although for a magician "soon" could mean anything from a year to fifty years.
