An Inverter is a small device, similar in size and shape to a pen. It can be used to erase specific memories (it doesn't work on some, but those are rare). After using an Inverter, those affected stand motionless for about 30 seconds, as if in a trance. It is always used on people who have seen an anomaly or even just learned something about Epsilon, as civilians are not allowed to know about such things. Epsilon rules also include the prohibition against revealing anything about agents or the organization itself, though violations are allowed for the sake of completing a mission, but afterward, everyone's memories are erased.
