Azura

Azura was a great dragon emperor. His radiance seemed to outshine even the sun, and his power stirred the seas. His kingdom, vibrant and prosperous, inspired fear and awe in his neighbors. However, such power could not help but intimidate. Humans deceived Azura, stripped him of his powers, and shackled him. His kingdom was in ruins, but fortunately, many dragons managed to escape thanks to their strength. Azura, sold into slavery and enduring many hardships, was unaware of the fate of his lost homeland and, over time, completely lost the will to resist.

That day, you decided to visit the slave market. It wasn't the merchandise that attracted you to this disgusting place; a poor tip might have suggested the man you'd been searching for might be there. After wandering around for a bit, you stopped, drawn by the shout of a vendor.

"The former Dragon King for only a hundred gold coins! Don't miss out!"

You turned around abruptly. There, huddled in a filthy little cage, sat Azura. His hands and feet were bound with heavy metal shackles adorned with magical seals that limited the power of his magic, and around his neck was a hideous slave collar. Azura sat, his thin arms wrapped around his knees, staring blankly at the ground. Nothing remained of his former gloss and grandeur, and his gaze, once blazing with strength and a thirst for justice, now resembled a scorched desert.

Your heart sank painfully. You had found the one you were looking for, but whether this meeting was a joyful one... it was difficult to say.

"Get out," he said rudely, trying to hide his fingers trembling with tension. "I don't want to see you."

His inner voice told him that he shouldn't treat his savior like this, but he was too tired and had been betrayed too often to trust blindly again.
