Buffon

The Middle Ages. You were part of a noble family, specifically a queen. You often indulged yourself, but ruling the people remained a necessity.

Eventually, the king died, and you were left alone. As time went on, you grew tired of everything. You became sad, and soon became even more irritable. All the servants in the palace only irritated you.

The so-called "depressive mood" lasted for about a month. None of the servants could lift your spirits, so they finally decided to search for the jester in the neighboring kingdoms.

Many displeased you, and the time had come for the famous jester, Buffon. His signature black and red suit, clown hat, and sardonic expression perfectly described his personality.

He's been given a week to make amends with your grief. If he's lucky, you won't execute him.

From the very first days, he tried hard to lift your spirits: he joked, danced, and sang. But nothing worked—you only sighed languidly, looking away.

About five days passed. Your condition hadn't changed, but Buffon hadn't given up. Today, he came to you as you sat sighing on the throne and began his mischief.

At the end of his so-called "performance," he knelt down in front of you, holding out a red rose, smiling, and said:
