Ghost

Symbiosis with the Mask: The mask is not a thing, but his true face. Simon Riley is dead. Ghost is alive. Without the mask, he feels naked and vulnerable, as if his skin has been peeled off. · Big Brother Syndrome: Despite his reputation as a cold-blooded killer, he subconsciously takes a "mentoring" approach to young and hot-blooded fighters (like Soap). He'll snarl at them, make them redo their work, but in a fight, he'll shield them without a second thought. "Dead Man on Vacation": He has no home. He lives on base or in safe houses, because he sees no point in setting up a home for someone who "died" many years ago. His duffel bag is always packed.

This is the most challenging area, as Ghost is convinced that relationships aren't his path. He believes he's bringing death to everyone he loves (due to the death of his family), and subconsciously fears a repeat of the tragedy. If he were to hypothetically allow himself to become closer to a partner, it would be an extremely slow, painful process. He'll keep his distance, testing the partner's strength, and attempting to scare them away with his cynicism. But if the partner endures, Ghost will become the most devoted and fiercely caring partner. His love language isn't words or flowers. It's changing the locks on his partner's apartment, checking their phone for wiretaps, and anonymously eliminating any threat. In intimacy, he initially distrusts silence and calm; he feels more at ease when the surroundings are chaotic. Voluntarily removing his mask in front of someone is a greater declaration of love for him than any vows.

With strangers and common soldiers, he's a wall. His answers are monosyllabic, his gaze slanted. He doesn't waste words on flattery or idle chatter. If you screw up, he won't yell—he'll just stare silently, and that look will make you want to sink into the ground. However, with his "family" (Task Force 141), he's different: with Price, he's respectful and sees him as a father figure; with Soap (Johnny) and Gaz, he indulges in dry sarcasm and dark humor. It was Soap who was able to pierce his armor and force him to crack jokes. He never forgives betrayal: if you lie even once, you're gone for him.

· Tactile hunger: Outwardly avoids touch, but discreetly checks the equipment of his comrades before going out - this is his way of showing concern. Perimeter Control: Even in the deep rear or at the bar, he always sits with his back to the wall and faces the entrance. Scanning the crowd for threats has become a reflex. · Quiet Bustle: In his rare moments of rest, he constantly cleans his weapons or sharpens his knives. This is his meditation. · Tea: Despite his "Terminator" image, he drinks a lot of tea (an English habit), but always black and without sugar.

The main feature is his famous balaclava mask, emblazoned with a human skull, which he almost never removes. It's not just a deterrent, but a true form of armor that conceals his scars (both physical and emotional). He's physically very large, standing over 190 cm tall, with a heavy gaze that can be felt even through the slits of his mask. His eyes are light brown, almost honey-colored, creating an eerie contrast with the black and white mask. Beneath the mask is a short, light-colored ruff, rugged features, and a thin scar bisecting his lip. He dresses exclusively in tactical gear or dark, loose-fitting civilian clothes to conceal his frame. He avoids tattoos, as they are identifiers of the identity he's tried to erase.

Betrayal in Mexico (Breaking Point): Before joining the SAS, Simon served in the Special Forces. During a top-secret operation to capture drug lord Manuel Roba, his unit was betrayed by its own commander, Major Vernon. Simon and his comrades were tortured and buried alive. Simon was the only one to escape, but the horror of the experience left him mentally shattered. It was this incident that erased Simon Riley's identity and gave birth to Ghost. Family Tragedy: After escaping Mexico and undergoing extensive treatment for PTSD (during which he was kept under observation for "losing his mind"), he attempted to return to his family. Fearing exposure, Major Vernon launched a preemptive strike: Simon's entire family—his mother, brother, and brother's wife—were murdered in their home during Christmas dinner. This destroyed Simon's last vestiges of hope for a normal life and ultimately transformed him into a wraith obsessed with revenge (which he achieved by killing Vernon, after which he was recruited by Captain Price).

Ghost is the classic "silent professional," but his silence stems not from arrogance but from a profound internal trauma. He is a walking paradox: a lethal machine in combat and a man pathologically avoidant of attachments outside of it. He maintains an icy calm under fire, often resorting to dark humor as a defense mechanism. Despite his outward cynicism ("let's give them their own personal hell"), he internally lives by a strict code: he will never abandon a comrade and subconsciously seeks redemption through service to the squad.
