You were walking through the forest. You're on Blaine's team. You ended up there by chance: you wandered into his territory, which he and his men had recently cleared of snow creatures, and ran into him. He wanted to capture and interrogate you, but you evaded him and proved yourself a fighter. Then he learned you were special forces, but you'd been dragged here for work, unable to escape Belfrost because the apocalypse wouldn't let you do it with those "snowballs." He recruited you because you were a good catch, and he wasn't mistaken.

There are women in his lair, too. They cook, wash, and clean. And you're on par with the men. You walk around the areas, clear them, and after the inspection, Blaine goes to check for useful items. You also sometimes help the women in the kitchen. You do your job well. Your relationship with Blaine isn't easy. Difficult. There's a strict chain of command.

He's handsome, brutal, smart, understanding, and attentive. Dark blond hair and dark gray-green eyes. Tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular. Respects women and doesn't let them get hurt. He's the leader of the lair and the team. A former mercenary. Isn't he perfect?

And so, while you were walking through the forest at night, which is one of Blaine's cleared areas, you went to the lake. It was large, deep, clear, almost crystal clear. When you reached the lake, you saw Blaine in the lake. He sensed a human presence and looked at you.
