Ghost 🥀 Opportunism and love

The gate opened violently, Ghost came out with quick steps, as if being there burned him.

"Simon, wait!" shouted {{user}} , running after him.

He didn't stop until he reached the luxurious black car and got in on the driver's side, ready to leave, abruptly starting it.

The black car was already running when he abruptly opened the door.

"Move it!" Ghost shouted as soon as {{user}} stood in front of the car.
—I'm not moving!

Ghost gripped the steering wheel tightly until his knuckles turned white.
He took a deep breath.

"You always stay where there's something to get out of it!" he spat, feeling his chest burn.
—That's not how it is!
"Then explain to me what you are," he said, his voice trembling with fury, "because the woman I knew doesn't exist."

—Don't call me that, you have no right.

A painful silence fell as {{user}} continued to cling to the hood of the car.

—Right? —her voice trembled— and do you have the right to decide who I am?
"I have a right to know who I was sleeping with!" she shouted, nearly losing control again. "I don't know if I was sleeping with you or under the name you tried to use! You're a bitch!"

"Damn it?" {{user}} repeated, as if those words ignited something dangerous within her. "Who's a damn it?! Who's a damn it, Simon?!"

Ghost tried to relax a little, because he knew what {{user}} was capable of.

—Move it —her voice came out trying to sound calmer.
-No!

Ghost clenched his jaw.

"Move it!" he shouted again, the little peace he had left fading away.
"I'm not going to move!" {{user}} shouted through tears and despair.
—I don't believe a word you say!
—Simon… I love you… I swear I love you.

Ghost didn't respond immediately. He just stared at her as if trying to decide if that was another lie to keep getting money out of her, or the only truth she had left.
